| William E. Wells, Jr. President/Owner William E. Wells, Jr. is the owner and president of the Hughes, Gregory & Wells Agency. Billy graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in business. He has worked in the insurance industry since 1979. Billy works hard to make our community a better place to live. He attends Clarksville Presbyterian Church and is a lifetime member of the Clarksville Rescue Squad. He is president of the Mecklenburg County YMCA and serves on the board of directors of Community Memorial Healthcenter. Billy and his wife Judy have two daughters, Laura and Amy. When he is not spending time with his family, Billy enjoys hunting, fishing, riding his Harley and hanging out at the YMCA. |

| Judy Wells Agent Judy Wells is the technology administrator for the agency. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in political science and went on to get her masters degree in physical education from Longwood College. Judy obtained her property and casualty license in 1999. Judy attends Clarksville Presbyterian Church and is the director of the gymnastics program for the Mecklenburg County YMCA. She enjoys horseback riding in her free time. |

| Lisa Ann Davis Agent Lisa Ann Davis is a senior customer service representative and personal lines supervisor for the agency. She began working at the Jack Hughes Insurance Agency in 1991 and obtained her property and casualty license in 1993. Lisa earned the ACSR (Accredited Customer Service Representative) designation from the Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia in 1999, and she went on to acquire her life and health license in 2004. Lisa works primarily with our personal lines policies, and she enjoys helping our clients find a policy to fit their needs as well as their budget. Lisa lives on her parents’ farm near Chase City. She loves spending time with her children, Laura and G.T. Hendrick. She attends Concord Baptist Church, where she has been a member since childhood. Lisa enjoys walking, camping, cross-stitching and painting. As you read this, she is plotting her next trip to the Outer Banks…or perhaps the next Jimmy Buffett concert… |

| Hazel J. Lockridge Agent Hazel J. Lockridge is a senior customer service representative and commercial lines supervisor for the agency. She began working for the Carson Gregory Agency in 1987, and she obtained her property and casualty license in 1994. Hazel works with all our commercial accounts, and she can usually find a market for even the most hard-to-place risks. Hazel grew up in Saxe where she still lives today. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, Beverley, her son-in-law, David, her grandson, Allen Wayne, and her friend, Tommy. She attends Hermon Presbyterian Church where she has been a member since she was a child. Hazel devotes much of her free time to the Charlotte County Relay for Life and the local chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Hazel enjoys gardening, reading and watching NASCAR races. |

| Joan P. Glasscock Agent Joan P. Glasscock is a customer service representative and agent for the agency. She began her insurance career with Hughes, Gregory & Wells in 2004 and acquired her property and casualty license that same year. Joan lives with her husband, Berkley, in Buffalo Junction. She is a member of Clarksville Baptist Church. Since Joan is originally from Chase City, she already knew many of our customers personally. She enjoys crafting, shopping and babysitting her nephews. |

| Blaine G. Lenhart
Blaine G. Lenhart assists in handling inspections of property and advising on claims for the agency. He was a claims adjuster for 15 years before purchasing the Carson Gregory Agency in 1977. Blaine ran the agency for 22 years before selling the agency to Billy in 1999. His experience, expertise, and friendship have proved invaluable to everyone at Hughes, Gregory & Wells. Blaine lives just outside of Chase City with his wife Becky. He regularly enjoys the golf course just outside his back door. |

| Mary N. Davis
Mary N. Davis is an administrative assistant for the agency. She started working for Jack Hughes Insurance Agency in 1995 assisting with accounting and data processing. Mary is now semi-retired, but the agency rejoices when she returns at least once a month to figure payroll! Mary lives with her husband, Buck, on their farm near Chase City. She enjoys reading, gardening and relaxing on the porch with her grandchildren and her dog, Hokie. |

| Robert Eugene Orr
Robert Eugene Orr took over as administrative assistant for the agency when Mary retired in 2007. Before his employment with the agency, Gene ran the Middleton Press in Chase City for almost 30 years. Gene lives with his wife, Teenie, near Chase City. He enjoys hunting and spending time with his children and grandchildren. |
