Robert Eugene Orr took over as administrative assistant for the agency when Mary retired in 2007. Before his employment with the agency, Gene ran the Middleton Press in Chase City for almost 30 years.

Gene lives with his wife, Teenie, near Chase City. He enjoys hunting and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
