illiam E. Wells, Jr. is the owner and president of the Hughes, Gregory & Wells Agency. Billy graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in business. He has worked in the insurance industry since 1979.

Billy works hard to make our community a better place to live. He attends Clarksville Presbyterian Church and is a lifetime member of the Clarksville Rescue Squad. He is a board member of the Mecklenburg County YMCA and serves on the board of directors of Community Memorial Healthcenter.

Billy and his wife Judy have two daughters, Laura and Amy. When he is not spending time with his family, Billy enjoys hunting, fishing, riding his Harley and hanging out at the YMCA.
